FAQs
Pricing & Payments
Q: How does flat-fee pricing work?
A: For most services, we set a clear flat fee before work begins. That fee covers the defined scope of work, so you’ll never be surprised by hourly charges. If additional work is needed, we’ll quote it before moving forward.
Q: Do you require a retainer?
A: Not for most flat-fee or subscription services. Some complex or ongoing matters may require a trust deposit, but we’ll always discuss this upfront.
Q: How do subscriptions work?
A: Our General Counsel subscriptions are billed monthly on a month-to-month basis. You can cancel anytime with no penalties.
Q: What payment methods do you accept?
A: Credit/debit cards, ACH/bank transfers, and select digital wallets. All payments are processed securely.
Services
Q: What types of businesses do you work with?
A: We support startups, small businesses, and growing companies across a wide range of industries, including tech, consulting, e-commerce, and professional services.
Q: Do you handle litigation or disputes?
A: We do not directly litigate cases, but we can refer you to trusted litigation counsel and coordinate with them as part of your overall legal strategy.
Q: Can you help with tax or intellectual property?
A: While we don’t prepare taxes or file patents ourselves, we often coordinate with CPAs and IP counsel to make sure your legal strategy is aligned across all areas.
Consultations & Process
Q: Is the initial consultation free?
A: Yes. The first consultation is complimentary — it’s an opportunity to understand your needs and explain how we can help.
Q: What should I prepare for my consultation?
A: Bring any existing contracts, governance documents, or questions you’d like to cover. If you’re forming a business, think about your ownership structure and long-term goals.
Q: How quickly can you start once I sign up?
A: Most flat-fee projects begin within 1–2 business days of receiving your intake form and payment. Subscription services begin immediately after enrollment.
Risk & Compliance
Q: What if I only need a one-time document?
A: No problem — you don’t need a subscription to work with us. You can hire us for a flat-fee project and add a subscription later if your needs grow.
